The AGE-UG Student association

The Student Association (AGE-UG) Student association provides services, activities, and representation on academic affairs for students, here at UG. It is you students, whose mission is to make life at UG more rewarding - ranging from enhancing academic pursuits, facilitating sporting involvement and satisfying social necessities. AGE-UG is a voluntary, a political group of elected students to represent you.

AGE-UG is dedicated to both the advancement and development of Graduate and Professional Students at the University of Gitwe. It serves to advocate on behalf of students nearly 1500 graduate and professional students at the University of Gitwe. This student association works closely with various administrators, faculty members, and staff to achieve its mission.

AGE-UG offers a number of services, including:

  • Clubs, societies and association support
  • Organizing various academic Events
  • Protecting, advancing, facilitating, and serving the interests of the University’s students
  • Enhancing and supporting various Research and Publications Issues
  • Promoting greater participation with the University’s community by these students to promote goals of mutual understanding and benefits.
  • Pursuing and promoting extra-curricular activities in the campus
  • Arranging different connections with external bodies such as government, other higher learning institutions, etc.
  • Etc.

AGE-UG is here to help you make the most of your time at Bond and exists to provide services to student activity members and the broader student community.
