Institut Superieur Pedagogue de Gitwe (ISPG) calls for applications from suitable candidates to fill the following vacant lecturer positions in:

  • ENT
  • Traumatology
  • Dermatology
  • Psychiatry
  • Radiology

Skills and qualification required
Candidates:

  • Must possess M.med or Postgraduate Fellowship certificate from recognised universities or postgraduate medical colleges.
  • Must demonstrate clinical teaching experience and be interested in teaching.
  • Must hold a licence from a professional body.
  • Must have good record of research publication and good communication skills in English.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Teaching and learning activities
  • Conducting research
  • Service to the community
  • Reporting to the Dean of faculty

2. Lab Technicians

Skills and required qualifications:
  • Holding a bachelor degree in Medical laboratory field
  • Able to work in any medical laboratory
  • Registered with local professional council.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • To train, assess and evaluate students of medical laboratory technology.
  • Assist in preparation of clinical tools and monitor effective use by the students.
  • Assist senior academic staff in preparation of learning resources, organization of teaching and learning and delivery of lectures/tutorials.
  • Supervision and marking of written assessments and work with the Head of Department to plan and monitor the implementation of the clinical curriculum.
